Honest about AI, without biasing readers
Authors can now disclose how AI was involved in a manuscript — none, assisted, or generated — with one deliberate twist: we hold that disclosure until the end. The moment a reader is told “AI helped write this,” their honest reaction is gone, replaced by a hunt for evidence. So readers see a small note explaining the disclosure is waiting at the end, and they can choose to check it once their reactions are already recorded — unbiased, and based on the words alone.
A live activity feed
Your dashboard now opens with “The margin, today” — a running feed of the latest reactions, chapter notes, and story reviews from across all your manuscripts. The first thing you see when you log in is what your readers have been feeling, no clicking around required.
A smoother welcome for readers
The reader welcome screen is now a friendly, multi-step wizard that explains how reactions work before the first chapter — so readers arrive knowing exactly how to tell you what they think.
